UNI-ISO 999
UNI ISO 999:2005, “Information and documentation. Guidelines for the content, organization and presentation of indexes.” was published.(Guida per il contenuto, l'organizzazione e la presentazione degli indici)
The standard applies to indexes of books (including fiction), periodicals, reports, documents of patents and other documents written or printed and non-printed materials such as electronic documents, films, sound recordings, video recordings, graphics, maps and 3D objects.
The norm is the national adoption in the Italian language of the international standard ISO 999 (edition November 1996).
