Interlibrary loan is granted exclusively to Italian libraries under reciprocity; requests coming directly from private individuals are not accepted.
Request mode:
Interlibrary loan requests may be addressed to the library:
- using the FORM after checking the correctness of data.
- by e-mail in case of technical problems that prevent you from using the online form at the following address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
- by ILL SBN
The requesting library is personally responsible for borrowed volume both in the case of its deterioration (underlining, subtracting pages), and in case of loss.
Time and method of delivery:
The loan is granted for a maximum of 30 days; the period does not include the time necessary for the transmission and return of documents.
Apart from exceptional cases, remitted to the judgment of the Director of the library, each library cannot lend more than two volumes. A document already on loan may be booked by another user.
The shipping costs and coverage of appropriate insurance guarantee of the loan volume are the responsibility of the requesting library.
Publications out of loan
- bibliographical works of great value who require a special preservation;
- geographical, geological and topographic maps, photographs, drawings, isolated tables;
- encyclopedias, dictionaries, bibliographies and valuable works placed in the reading rooms, atlases, manuals, treatises and frequently requested publications in reading;
- the periodicals;
- works not yet regularly catalogued and placed;
- any other publication referred to, for special needs, the Library may decide to limit the consultation to the read-only in seat.
Penalties
Apply, as applicable, the rules under Regulation of public libraries (art. 58 of the DPR 05/07/1995 n. 417 "Rules on public libraries. Published" in the Official Journal on 5 October 1995, n. 233 , S.O.)
