Access to local services of the Library is permitted to teachers, researchers, academics, graduate students, undergraduates, public and private employees, freelancers and every user who needs to consult documents and information resources owned and / or obtainable through the structure.
To access the services and resources of the Library locally, it is necessary to show a valid identity document, which allows the release of a valid card for entry into the Library. Admission to the Library is subject to the rules of coexistence common to the places of study and research.
The Library is open to the public for about 50 hours a week.
The opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 8.15 a.m. to 18.45 p.m.
Users will have access to:
Bibliographic information service: The library staff is available to users throughout the opening hours of the library, to provide the necessary support to the consultation of information resources and localization and document retrieval.
Reading rooms: Three reading rooms are currently available-for a total of about 70 places-one of which is dedicated to the field of social sciences and one to CDE (European Documentation Centre), there are computer stations and free wifi. Users can use their pc only with the authorization of the Library staff.
Consultation and distribution: The works contained in the reading rooms, arranged on open shelves, are directly accessible to users. The remaining bibliographic material, stored in the repository of books, must be requested at the Library staff, by filling out the online form available from dedicated workstations to users. The distribution of texts takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. The material consulted must be returned 30 minutes before the closing of the Library.
Booking & collection: through the online catalogues of the library you can book publications of interest and pick them up at the information service, the day after the request submission. This service is provided to registered users and in possession of identification card.
We make loan services and press.
The Library makes available to its users a variety of bibliographic databases also available in full-text. Their consultation is possible only within the Library itself into observance of the rules on copyright protection and copyright.
