In 2014 they were assigned about 2000 new ISSN codes  to Italian serial publications  (in progress, forthcoming or already closed).

Among these, over 400 have announced the release of the number 1/2014 to the ISSN Centre.

On this page is shown - sorted by the Dewey class  - a selection of the ISSN codes assigned  and validated by the National Centre for magazines, collections or other types of Italian publication in  series that began in 2014. The grouping by subjects or topics can be used to profile the cultural and scientific trends on which the   current interests of publishing and institutions are pinned. Have not been included in this list the publications purely or mainly recreational, leisure, entertainment or advertising.

Publications are mentioned for which publishers have sent to the ISSN Centre published the first paper file (or have reported the successful publication of the first issue online), and reporting the ISSN published according to the instructions available on the website of the Centre.
